Age factors don’t seem to be a great obscure for Sathyaraj and he seems to be cool performing various roles churning out film to film. If he had come up with an exceptional role of a 60 year old man, this flick presents him as a normal hero that’s appealing for masses…

With a simple and already seen script, Thangam is nothing special of its kind, but it’s just a thing that makes it highlighted, comedian Goundamani. This veteran ace comedian backs with an extraordinary comedy tracks and moreover Kiccha perfectly adds the necessary elements of a perfect entertainer…

The story of Thangam goes this way…

The film opens with Thangam (Sathyaraj) getting freed from prison and returning to his hometown. On his way to home back, the flashback what made Thangam to be put behind bars? Kiccha exerting same tempo for the flick wins the laurels, but he is a looser when he misses out of logical aspects. Though filled with lots of absurdities, the entertaining factors doesn’t make audiences’ attention from getting scattered…

Goundamani remains as main limelight right from the beginning till the climax striking with rib-trickling comedy tracks along with Sathyaraj. Megha Nair does justice to her job performing the best and that goes well with other performers too.

Thangam gets back the audience inserting in them a feel of watching a good movie made before a decade like Maman Magal, Pangali and many others…

Srikanth Deva has tuned melodies of his own kind and seems like he has been concentrating only on background scoring…

On the whole, Thangam is a movie that can be watched along with family members to enjoy killing your time. If you felt all over the week with hectic works, you can watch this movie relaxing during the weekend…

Bottom Line : appealing entertainer for massesVerdict: A good entertainer…
