Matching Rajnikanth’s agility is no mean feat for any of his leading lady. Hence director Shankar wants Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to get in shape real soon before she starts shooting with the superstar in his sci-fi flick Robot.

Although the actress had put on some weight for her role in Jodhaa Akbar, she is working hard on her figure now. According to the source, Ash’s current diet comprises sprouts and liquids like juices and soups. Shankar is very particular even about the smallest details in his films. He has churned up some of the biggest hits like the Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji and the Kamal Hassan starrer Indian. He wants to leave no stone unturned for Robot too.

So Aishwarya has already started to loose weight, through gymming and dieting, ending recent tabloid speculation that she is pregnant and has withdrawn from the film.

Meanwhile, the release of Aishwarya’s next film, Ram Gopal Varma directed Sarkar Raj, has been delayed because Amitabh Bachchan is not happy with the way the climax, featuring him and Abhishek Bachchan, was filmed and has asked Varma to re-shoot it.

Actress Trisha has now confirmed that she would no more give importance to glamour roles. Speaking about this, she says that Simran has been her role model and like her she had to take up glamour roles in the early stages. However, Trisha is determined that her focus in future course would be mainly concentrated on character roles.  

At present, she has been venturing with three flicks with each varying in genre. Sharing her screen space after a longtime with Vijay, the film titled ‘Kuruvi’ will depict in a glamorous role. But in complete contrast would be Abhiyum Naanum, where she plays the role of daughter of Prakash Raj.

Trisha is more confident that this flick will fetch her good credits and if possible with awards. Getting completed with these projects, she plays lead role in the film Chennayil Oru Mazhaiakaalam directed by Gowtham Menon. With entire cast being debutants, she has a meaty role to play her and come up with good works…

Yes, another news about Shriya Saran.  The latest buzz in Kollywood is that she walked out of the sets in Kanthaswamy when she was asked to act in a kissing scene.  Shriya feels upset over this rumor!   

Why, because the real reason why she walked out was about a dress!  No, she was not asked to wear sexy dress, she was asked to bring the costume for that day’s shoot and she forgot.  Because of this the shooting had to be cancelled, due to the importance of that costume in that scene. 

Another rumor that she denied is the love between her and the Hollywood actor.  She is really annoyed about all the rumors that seem to be popping up around her.  She says she will not be brought down by such bad campaign.

Look who is back! It is none other than Nagma, who is making a comeback to Tamil films.  In the movie Anal Katru, directed by Balu Mahendra, Nagma plays the heroine.  

  Nagma was busy in Bhojpuri films, when she was offered a chance in Tamil film by Balu Mahendr and she accepted immediately, even without asking him about the story. Balu Mahendr’s films are mostly shoot in Ooty but now he is planning to shoot in Chennai.  This gives Nagma some time to spend with her sister Jyothika’s baby.

Nothing was quite impressive from her right from first and it was Sivaji that focused lights on her at tinsel town. But that didn’t seem to prolong for her very next movie Azhagiya Tamizh Magan was an ultimate flop. Though not a successful movie, Vijay was praised for his performance, but situations were completely for Shriya Charan. She was more badly criticized for her worst performance.

Recently she was denied by Ajith to pair up with him for the reason she danced for an item number with Vadivelu in the film Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan. Even the song turned out to be a great flop.

Before couple of weeks, shooting for Kandasamy was held at MRC grounds in Chennai where actor Vikram, Director Susi Ganeshan and cinematographer Aekambaram were present. It was an intimate scene where Shriya had to kiss Vikram. Couple of takes for shot were done and Director insisted her to go for one more take since he wasn’t satisfied with perfection in the frame.  Blistering out in anger, Shriya abruptly walked out of the shooting  sets saying that she will not go for one more take. This has landed things in a more problematic situation between director and actress.

Now this has raised questions whether Shirya would continue to act in this film or get replaced by someone else.
