⛔ Important: Fire TV Stick 4K Select and the 2026 Fire TV Stick HD are not supported. These models use Amazon's Vega OS, which only allows apps from the Amazon Appstore. Check the Amazon product page before you buy: if the description says the device "prevents sideloading or installing apps from unknown sources", or that only Amazon Appstore apps are available, that model will NOT work.

1Enable Developer Mode

Navigate to: Settings > My Fire TV > About

Keep clicking on your device name repeatedly until you see "You are now a developer"

Then go to: Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options

Turn ON "Apps from Unknown Sources"

Press the Home button on your remote when finished

2Install Downloader App

Go to: Appstore > All Categories > Utilities

Find and install the app called "Downloader"

3Download TamilGrounds App

Launch the Downloader app

Press Allow when prompted

Enter this URL in the address bar:

tamilgrounds.com/download

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation

4Launch & Login

Open the TamilGrounds app

Press Allow when prompted

Login with your credentials

1Enable Unknown Sources

For Android 8.0 and higher:

Go to: Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps

Select your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, etc.)

Turn ON "Allow from this source"

💡 Tip: The exact path may vary slightly depending on your device manufacturer (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.)

For older Android versions (7.0 and below):

Go to: Settings > Security

Turn ON "Unknown sources"

2Download TamilGrounds App

Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, etc.)

Type this URL in the address bar:

tamilgrounds.com/download

The APK file will start downloading automatically

💡 Tip: If the download doesn't start automatically, tap the download link on the webpage

3Install & Login

Tap the download notification or open the APK file from your Downloads folder

Tap "Install"

Wait for the installation to complete, then tap "Open"

Login with your credentials

💡 Where's my Downloads folder? Open your Files or My Files app and look for the Downloads folder

2Install Downloader App

Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV Box

Search for "Downloader"

Install the app by AFTVnews

Launch the Downloader app

Press Allow when prompted
